An Apple In Progress

Latest class piece. The assignment was to paint an apple however we wanted.  I thought it was a bit boring to just do a regular old apple though- and since this is an illustration class, I figured I'd give the apple a little more character.  So here's my cannibal apple, or Canapple as we've been calling him. XD  This is just the WIP version as it hasn't been through crit yet.

Digital Master Copy finished

Alrighty! Here's the final version of my sketch master copy. This is what I turned in for class, and I feel pretty good about it. It's not perfect, but I think it came out alright.

Digital Master Copy WIP

This is the first draft of the master copy sketch we're doing for my digital illustration class.  I chose to do a Chris Sanders sketch piece for mine. The top pic is the original and the bottom is my copy (but I'm sure you can probably tell. Haha!) I claim no right to this artwork! The copy is only being posted on the internet for a class assignment.

Unofficial line up for picture book

The unofficial designs for the main characters of the picture book I'm doing this semester for my narrative illustration class.  The story is a retelling of the Chinese folktale "The Four Dragon Kings."  So these are the four kings, Ao Chun, Ao Chi'in, Ao Jun, and Ao Kuang, and the Jade Emperor.
